Before and After Hardwood Floor Cleaning Pics!

It’s been a while since we shared before and after photos of one of our hardwood floor cleaning jobs. So we thought we’d devote this post to doing just that!

Before and After: Fire Restoration Rug

Our rug cleaning clients call us to help with all kinds of rug catastrophes. Food spills, puppy accidents, and normal wear and tear are the most common issues we address, but sometimes we get the opportunity to restore a rug that has been through hell and back. Take this fire restoration rug, for instance.

Here’s what it looked like when it came to us. Fire and smoke damage had left this fine persian rug looking black and burnt to a crisp. It was hard to see the gorgeous pattern underneath the damage. You could barely tell it was even a rug. The owners could have been forgiven for thinking it was destined for the dump, but fortunately they decided to give us the chance to work our magic on it.

Underneath all of that soot and ash was a piece of art, and it wasn’t so damaged that it couldn’t be restored to its original beauty and vibrancy. We were able to clean the fire restoration rug and return it to the owners looking just as good as new. Don’t believe us? Here’s the after picture.

Amazing Before and After Area Rug Cleaning!

It’s been awhile since we did a Before and After post, so I thought it would be a great time to share some photos of an area rug we cleaned recently.

We clean area rugs, including fine and oriental rugs, in our facility in West Asheville. Each rug that visits our facility gets a luxurious spa treatment, complete with a tub soak in our all-natural, non-toxic cleaning solutions.

As you can see, this particular rug looked a bit worse for wear when it arrived. It appears that a large piece of furniture has been sitting on top of it for a long time, and it hasn’t been cleaned underneath. There might be a little staining from spills, as well. But that’s nothing we haven’t successfully dealt with before. Trust us, we’ve cleaned far worse.

Now take a look at the very same rug, after being treated to our amazing five step cleaning process! It looks as good as new. The texture is restored to the rug fibers and the color is renewed. Seriously, if I saw that rug for sale in a Home Depot, it would never occur to me that it wasn’t brand new.

Before and After Upholstery Cleaning!

We’re back this week with more (Nearly) Unbelievable Before and After photos of our work in Asheville, NC! But believe, dear readers, for the proof is in the pictures.

We were recently called to a client’s home for an upholstery cleaning. We could tell that, underneath the dingy layers dirt from years of use, this chair was something special. It just needed some special attention to help the beauty of the upholstery shine. So we got straight to work.

We were right! That was some gorgeous upholstery beneath the dirt and stains! Look at how bright the white in the fabric is, now that we’ve worked our magic on it. Needless to say, our client was very pleased to have their chair saved from the refuse heap, and we were gratified to have provided yet another stellar customer experience.

BEFORE AND AFTER! Tile Cleaning Pics

We’re back again with more awesome before and after pictures!

We recently did a tile cleaning for a client in the Asheville area. This tile was in dire need of some TLC! Over time, tile floors can pick up layers of dirt and grime that just won’t come off with regular cleaning. The grout can get especially dirty, as the porous material sucks up dirt and doesn’t want to let it go!

Here is the picture of the tile before we cleaned it. As you can see, there are some large stains on the tile and the grout is almost black with years of collected grime. But not to worry; this a job Five Step Carpet Care can handle!

And here is what the tile floor looked like after we finished with it. The big stains are gone, and now the grout is back to its original, sandstone color. Not a speck of dirt or grime to be seen!

Another floor was renewed by our superior and effective cleaning techniques. Another customer was overjoyed that they wouldn’t have to replace their floor. Our job was done. We drove off into the sunset in our big, white van, satisfied with the day’s accomplishments and ready to tackle another floor tomorrow!

WNC Carpet Cleaning – Before and After

Time for more amazing before and after photos from our archives! We work hard week in and week out cleaning carpets, upholstery, wood floors, and more for our customers in WNC, and from time to time we like to share pictures of our work here on the blog. This week we want to show you a great example of the type of stain a lot of people might think is “impossible” to clean.

In this before photograph, as you can see, there is a big, black stain on the carpet. It looks like someone dumped a bag of charcoal out and then stamped it into the carpet fibers. But this is more likely a case of dirt, and possibly liquids, being ground into the carpet and left to sit over time. Either way, the carpet looks done for! We receive many worried calls from folks who have similar carpet stains. They’re not sure if they should have the carpets cleaned, or if it would be better to just rip them out and burn them!

But not to worry. We can tackle stains like this and worse. In our time cleaning carpets, we’ve cleaned everything from chocolate sauce to candle wax out for our customers. So here’s the after pic of that black-stained carpet section above.

As you can see, the stain came out! Our Five Step cleaning process is what makes these amazing results possible.

Fine Rug Cleaning – Before and After

Hi, everyone! We’re back this week with more amazing before-and-after shots of our work. It’s something we like to do on the blog from time to time, because we’re really proud of our work! This time, we have a couple of fine rug cleaning photos we’d like to share with you.

This fine rug came to us looking a little worse for wear, as you can see in the picture on the left. The lighter colored areas of the rug are dingy-looking, and there are some areas of gray discoloration–probably from dirt staining. Sometimes, fine rugs just need a nice, long, luxurious bath! So that’s what we did.

As you can see in the shot on the right, our fine rug looked much better after its spa day! The lighter colored areas of the rug look bright and clean, the texture looks softer, and even the dark red border seems to pop a bit more.

Asheville Rug Cleaning- Before and After

We’re back this week with more great before and after photos for you. (If you didn’t catch last weeks blog post, you’ll want to click over and see the amazing things we can do with upholstery.)

For this post, We want to showcase some of our recent work in the realm of Asheville rug cleaning. A lot of people don’t know that we can actually pick up your area rugs and take them to our facility for a luxurious spa treatment. (or you can drop them off at our facility yourself and pick them up when they’re done.) Here is a picture of a couple of area rugs lounging in our rug bath.

A lot of the rugs we clean look something like this before they go into the bathing pit. Dirty, stained, and a bedraggled. But that’s nothing a little elbow grease can’t fix.

Carpet Cleaning Asheville- Before and After

Kids are great, but there’s no denying that they can be one of the top causes of carpet catastrophes! It would be nice if they came with instructions, or better yet, damage insurance.
